TORONTO, ONT – The 16th annual Motionball Toronto Gala presented by Air Miles was held at the Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex.
Considered Toronto’s Largest Young Professionals Charity Gala, over 2400 guests made fashionable statements dressed in suits, ties and bow ties to flowing designer cocktail gowns and mingled with local celebrities and Special Olympic athletes in support of the Special Olympics Canada Foundation.
The evening started off with a VIP reception and gourmet dinner followed by a live auction which saw a gorgeous red Fender Stratocaster Guitar autographed by the surviving Beatles Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr sell for $7,000.
After the VIP reception and dinner, the much anticipated After Party (complete with open bar) began at 9:00pm and went until 2:00AM. The evening was capped when Montreal hip-hop artist Karl Wolf entertained the massive crowd with his World Wide debut of his latest single ‘Wherever You Go’.
The Motionball is the brainchild of best friends and brothers Paul, Mark and Sean Etherington, who hold a life-long attachment to Special Olympics Canada.
